A useful music pitch starts with a working listening link and a clear reason to care. We want to hear the record and understand the story around it. A long list of adjectives usually gets in the way of both.
Include your artist name, location, release title, release date, and one or two official links. If a release is not public yet, explain any embargo and make sure the private link works without requesting access.
Tell us something specific about the work. What changed during the writing or recording? Who did you collaborate with? Is the release connected to a local event or a larger project? Keep the answer direct.
If you provide photographs, include the photographer’s name and permission to use the images for editorial coverage. A press kit should make those details easier to verify, not harder.
Submitting does not guarantee a feature or a response. Editorial decisions depend on fit, verification, and the reporting we can do. We do not need a claim that you are the next big thing. We need a reason to listen closely.
