The story comes first.
Reporting and opinion
News should be verified against original sources. Commentary and personal judgment should be recognizable as such. We do not fabricate interviews, quotes, attendance, artist rankings, or audience numbers.
Sources and credits
Stories should identify their evidence. Photographs, audio, and video require a documented permission or licensing basis and appropriate credit. Atmospheric imagery must not be presented as documentation of a reported event.
Relationships and paid content
Commercial placements must be labeled. When a financial or ownership relationship affects a recommendation or promotional feature, the story should explain it clearly. A submission or partnership inquiry does not guarantee editorial coverage.
Corrections
Errors should be corrected with an explanation when a substantive fact changes. To flag a possible error, send the article link, the disputed detail, and supporting evidence.
