OGNEILJAY is one of the artists selected for Hy-Lo News’ inaugural 305 On The Rise class. The outlet’s October 7, 2026 announcement identifies him with Broward County within a group representing communities across Broward and Miami-Dade.
A local introduction
The selection provides a clear news peg for discovery. It does not, on its own, establish a chart position, a label deal or a measure of commercial success. What it does is direct listeners toward an artist selected by a regional outlet.
Read the class announcement, then move from the introduction to the work itself.
Start with the official videos
OGNEILJAY’s YouTube channel lists videos including LOVE, AIM AND FIRE, 2 + 2 Dancing [DREAM VERSION] and SLASHED TOYOTA. These give new listeners concrete places to begin instead of relying on an unverified description of his sound.
The visual side also lets an unfamiliar audience see how an artist chooses to present a song. Watching multiple releases can reveal connections that a single clip leaves out.
For Trap N Loud, the next step is straightforward: follow the music behind the regional recognition. An Artist To Watch feature should open a door to the catalog and let listeners form their own view of what deserves another play.
